Hello all!

Here is my first vlog for you to see. In it, there are four videos which you can play by rolling your mouse over each of them. My vlog aims to answer the following questions:

1. What is a vlog
2. How are they viewed and shared
3. What limitations does this genre free
4. What am I going to vlog about in the next few weeks.

In my pitch last week I mentioned that I want to play around and explore the margins of the vlog genre and this submissison is an introduction to these issues. What are these margins? well, the liminal space of hybrid medium conventions, creating sequences that focus on the everyday while being constructive and entertaining, looking at the varying modes of interactivity and interfacing and exploring the way vlogs are a part of the participatory folksonomic structure of the (open source) internet.

Fingers crossed that I will pull it off but I hope for all of my vlogs to be exploratory as well as entertaining, after all, what is the point of vlogging if I am boring the viewer? So any feedback will lapped up with gratitude.

gee, it feels great not to be a vlog virgin anymore. phew.
