Vlogging with ACTNOW...Episode 2: Pirates Against Poverty

Hello vloggers and visitors. This is my second vlog post where I dive deep into the heart of piratedom. Apparently, pirates aren't just obsessed about treasure they're also campaigners against poverty.

The Oaktree Foundation is the world's first entirely youth run aid organisation. It was created by Young Australian of the Year, Hugh Evans, in 2003. Oaktree has a UWA seed group which hosted the "Pirates Against Poverty" Party on September 7th 2006 which was part of Social Justice Week. I headed down to the Tav on a rainy Thursday night to discover more about Oaktree and to get the answers to defining questions such as:

Why is it cool to be a Pirate Against Poverty?
Can drinking beer really save the world?

Watch my vlog to find out the truth and to see pirates like you've never seen them before.

N.B. No pirates were harmed in the filming of this vlog entry.

Lastly, does anyone know how to get rid of static from audio clips on iMovie? I'm not using a microphone and my pocket camcorder has clear sound but has awful static throughout the audio...Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
