This is my last video blog. I would like to show bollywood and its music and dance. This vlog basically will show the history of bollywood and where it has reached now. The famous actors. Infact, we also have Miss world India and Miss Universe India as the most successful actresses of bollywood.

Bollywood (Hindi) is an informal name given to popular Mumbai-based Hindi language film industry in India. Bollywood is commonly referred to as hindi cinema.

HISTORY:

Raja Harishchandra (1913) was the first feature film made in India. It was made by Dadasaheb phalke. By 1930's the industry was producing over 200 films per annum. In late 1950's Bollywood released its first color films.

Now a days there is growing presence of indian english in dialogue and songs as well. bollywood film are usually musicals, and are expected to contain music in the form of song and dancenumbers woven into script. Film music is often released before the movie itself and helps increase the audiences.

BOLLYWOOD SONG AND DANCE

Songs from bollywood are generally prerecorded by professional playback singers, with the actors then lip synching the words to the songs. while most actors these days are excellent dancers, few also singers.

songs typically comment on the action taking place in the movie. Bollywood films always have "item numbers" .Usually this is performed by a female charater, often completely unrelated to th main cast and plot of the film.

Dialogues and lyrics

The film script and the dialogues and the song lyrics are often written by different people.
