going abroad to study is not a easy job, which can be reflected through my previous episodes. it is really important for those to decided to study in a foreign county to make every preparation before they do so and keep correct attitude whenever they meet hardships...the advices and suggestions given by Mr. Greg in this episode will help those students hopefully.

Submitted by Meng Zhao on Fri, 27/10/2006 - 05:31.Hi everyone,
Here comes my third story (episode 5 & 6) 'Always Be together'. I chose this topic because I do know lots of couples breaks up because one of them go abroad, and the distance interms of being apart from each other is one of the main reasons. And being influenced by the different culture of a diferent country is another reason. In these two episode, I will interview Arisa and Steve who decide to stuey abroad together because they are well aware the problem and want to protect their relationship.
cheers!

Hedda's VLog: Fancy Places in Freo - Episode IV
Submitted by Hedda Koenig on Thu, 26/10/2006 - 14:52.Hi everybody,
Welcome to my 4th VLog.
I visited the Round House in Fremantle, which is the oldest public building in WA, dating from 1830. It was originally built as a gaol and later used as prison. At the lookout point towards the ocean a cannon is located which provides still a daily time shot at 1pm. So make sure not to miss that. In the olden days, this signal was very important for the mariners to be able to set their chronometers right on their boats and thus make exact navigation possible. The procedure was ceased in 1937 when telegraphy was available.
Underneath the Round House there is a tunnel, which connects the beach with the town to provide access for the whalers who were down on Bathers beach.

Hedda's VLog: Fancy Places in Freo - Episode VII
Submitted by Hedda Koenig on Wed, 25/10/2006 - 18:34.Hello and welcome everybody to my last VLog !
For this last one I decided to take you down to my most favourite beach, which is Cottesloe Beach.
It is a great place to hang out with friends, go for a swim or enjoy the best Fish'n Chips at the 'Cott's'. One of the most remarkable signs of Cottesloe Beach is of course the pylon, which is situated right in front of the Indiana Tea Rooms. It was intersting to find out that this pylon was originally installed in 1935 right after a shark attack, in order to hold a net and keep the sharks off. The pylon though had to be rebuilt several times, as rough waters made it collapse. Sometimes it even gets a paint from unknown artists.
