Week 1: Introductions: A New Course, New People and New Ideas.
The first seminar will introduce you to the aims and objectives of the unit. You will be shown demonstrations of the sort of work that can be produced for videoblogs, and we will have an informal discussion about the sorts of projects that you would like to undertake.
You will be asked to fill out some brief questionnaires so that we can ascertain your various levels of software/hardware expertise. This will assist us in determining where we need to focus our energies in practical training.
Preparation:
For next week students should establish a rough outline of their ideas for a videoblogging project.
